I believe people learn best by doing. That belief shapes both how I approach my work and how I design learning experiences. I’m drawn to opportunities where a focused investment of time or effort creates an outsized impact—where one intentional action sets off a ripple effect that leads to meaningful, lasting change. Time is our most valuable resource, so learning should be purposeful, efficient, and designed with intention.
Teaching and learning are most powerful when they are relevant. Self-discovery must come before true mastery, and people perform at their best when they can connect learning to their own goals, experiences, and interests. Creating space for dialogue, reflection, and application allows learners to take ownership of what they’re learning. When learners have a voice in the process, motivation increases and outcomes improve.
I also believe there is no single path to success. Recognizing that reality creates freedom—to experiment, to move forward with confidence, and to make informed decisions without fear of getting it “perfect.” Learning, like growth, happens through action. Each new challenge brings new firsts, and those moments are where confidence is built.
My goal as a learning professional is to design experiences that empower people to think critically, act confidently, and continue learning long after the training ends.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
